The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted the emphasis on strengthening economic ties between the two nations. PM Modi showcased India’s robust economic growth, business-friendly environment, and innovation ecosystem, inviting Australian companies to participate in various sectors such as manufacturing, clean energy, critical minerals, AI, fintech, and infrastructure.
The India-Australia CEO Forum, revitalized in 2023 by PM Modi and Albanese, aims to bolster economic relations and facilitate collaborative efforts in trade and investment across diverse sectors. This annual forum provides strategic advice to government leaders on enhancing economic prosperity for both countries, fostering a continuous dialogue throughout the year.
In addition to the CEO Forum, PM Modi addressed the Economic Roadmap Business Reception, underscoring the shared confidence and aspirations between India and Australia. He emphasized the growing economic partnership, positioning the two nations as natural allies amidst global uncertainties.
