Recalling their last encounter, Rahul posted on social media a photo from December 6, 2025, where Ajit Pawar enjoyed his favorite songs for hours. Expressing grief over the sudden loss, Rahul described it as an untimely and deeply personal goodbye to Ajit Dada Pawar.
In a video shared by Rahul on Instagram, he was seen singing Kishore Kumar’s hit song “O Mere Dil Ke Chain” from the movie “Mere Jeevan Saathi” (1972), with Ajit Pawar joining in, creating memorable moments. Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader, Ajit Pawar, tragically passed away in a plane crash near Baramati during a visit for election-related meetings.
