The top leadership of Saudi Arabia, including King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, conveyed their congratulations to President Droupadi Murmu on Republic Day. King Salman sent a cable to President Murmu, extending best wishes for health and happiness, along with progress and prosperity for India. Crown Prince Mohammed also sent his regards to President Murmu on the occasion.
India and Saudi Arabia recently expanded their bilateral Strategic Partnership Council by introducing new ministerial committees during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. The leaders discussed deepening cooperation in defense, energy, trade, technology, and education. Both nations acknowledged the growth in bilateral trade and signed agreements covering various sectors like health, space, and anti-doping cooperation.
The leaders of both countries appreciated each other’s national goals, including Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and India’s Viksit Bharat 2047. They pledged to collaborate on mutual interests to achieve shared prosperity and support their respective visions.
