As the Noida International Airport’s opening nears, security and traffic management in Gautam Buddh Nagar have been bolstered. Five new temporary police outposts have been established around the airport area to enhance security under Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh’s guidance. These outposts, situated at various milestones, aim to improve surveillance and response capabilities for any security incidents.
To ensure smooth traffic flow and quick emergency responses, seven additional PCR/PRV vehicles have been deployed at strategic locations. These vehicles will patrol key areas, including the Yamuna Expressway and the airport’s main access road. Modern security systems have been installed in all vehicles to enable swift actions during emergencies, enhancing safety for commuters and residents and ensuring effective traffic control.
During his upcoming visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inspect the airport project progress and receive detailed briefings from officials. The preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally, crowd management strategies, and public meeting venue arrangements will be discussed. With the airport inauguration scheduled for March 28, preparations are in full swing to ensure the event’s success.
