Actress and author Soha Ali Khan Khan recently opened up about a challenging period when her mother, veteran star Sharmila Tagore, was diagnosed with stage one lung cancer. Speaking on her podcast ‘All About Her’ with Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni for Mother’s Day, Soha revealed how the experience brought them closer and emphasized the need for more communication. She mentioned that the diagnosis prompted them to express their feelings more, as they were not accustomed to verbalizing affection before.
Reflecting on the lack of emotional expression in their family, Soha shared insights into generational differences, noting that previous generations were not as open in showing love. The actress, with nearly two decades in Bollywood, has starred in successful films like “Rang De Basanti,” “Tum Mile,” and “Khoya Khoya Chaand.” Soha Ali Khan, who is married to actor Kunal Kemmu and has a daughter named Inaaya Kemmu, is also known for her informative podcasts and social media content.
