Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) working president Supriya Sule expressed worry about the formation of political alliances in Maharashtra’s local body elections. She criticized the misuse of money power and accused the Election Commission of inaction. Sule highlighted the importance of addressing real issues like basic civic facilities in municipal corporation elections.

Supriya Sule also criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) ticket distribution and internal functioning. She pointed out that many BJP leaders have come from other parties, leading to a shift in the party’s original identity. Sule emphasized the need for genuine schemes for women and the importance of women’s participation in decision-making processes.

Regarding the MahaYuti’s manifesto for local body elections, Supriya Sule stressed the significance of women as key stakeholders. She mentioned the Ladli Bahin scheme and the need for fulfilling promises made to women. Sule advocated for providing women with essential resources, training, and financial support to enhance their self-reliance.

Supriya Sule discussed the alliance with the NCP for the Pune municipal corporation elections. She indicated that the alliance is currently in place for the municipal elections with considerations for future elections. Sule emphasized the focus on development and progress in the context of the ongoing elections.
