Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin praised Tamil Nadu for achieving an impressive 11.19% economic growth rate, attributing it to the state’s inclusive governance model. He highlighted the Dravidian government’s focus on social justice, welfare, and balanced development, which garnered national recognition. The growth was credited to sustained policy efforts and inclusive governance practices, not mere coincidence.

Udhayanidhi inaugurated a modern hockey stadium in Coimbatore and emphasized the government’s commitment to wildlife conservation by launching an elephant camp and modernization initiatives for the Forest Department. He also laid foundation stones for new projects, inaugurated completed works, and distributed welfare assistance during his visit.

Reflecting on the legacy of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, Udhayanidhi underscored the government’s dedication to the overall development of Coimbatore. He emphasized the importance of ensuring government schemes reach all sections of society, regardless of political affiliations, to promote inclusive development. The government’s initiatives, such as empowering women through various schemes and distributing laptops to college students, demonstrate a commitment to education and digital empowerment.

Udhayanidhi reiterated the Dravidian model’s focus on social justice, economic growth, and equal opportunities, emphasizing Tamil Nadu’s progress under the current administration’s vision of inclusive development that uplifts all segments of society.
