Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu in New Delhi to discuss the completion of Warangal and Adilabad airports by June 2, 2028. Reddy expressed gratitude for the Union Minister’s cooperation in this endeavor. He emphasized the importance of these airports meeting international standards for the state’s progress.
Ram Mohan Naidu affirmed Reddy’s commitment to finishing the Warangal airport by Telangana’s formation day in 2028. He assured that necessary efforts would be made to meet the deadline, with construction set to commence in three weeks. Discussions between the leaders also covered the design and facilities of both upcoming airports.
The proposed airport in Adilabad, announced after meetings with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy, will feature a defense enclave alongside civil operations. The Civil Aviation Ministry requested additional land acquisition for this facility, which will boast a runway capable of accommodating Airbus A320 aircraft.
