Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay is actively campaigning in Puducherry as the Assembly elections draw near. Scheduled for April 9, the elections have sparked intense political activity in the Union Territory. With just a few days left, Vijay’s rally aims to mobilize voters and boost party morale.
The Election Commission has approved three campaign events for Vijay on Saturday. These events will be held at different locations in Puducherry, including Thattanchavadi Market Committee area, Cuddalore Road Mall, and Thavalakuppam Junction. The party is making all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of these events, adhering to strict guidelines set by the Election Commission.
To maintain order and safety, the party has imposed restrictions such as limiting the number of participants to 5,000 at each event and prohibiting vehicles from following the campaign procession. A public advisory has been issued, advising vulnerable groups to refrain from attending the gatherings in person and instead watch them live on TV or social media platforms.
The election fervor in Puducherry is escalating as prominent leaders intensify their campaigns in the final days leading up to the polls.
