Actor Varun Dhawan, gearing up for the movie Border 2, recently met PVC Hoshiar Singh’s wife and son to honor the martyr’s legacy. Sharing heartfelt moments on social media, Varun expressed gratitude for the blessings received from Singh’s family to portray the iconic role in the film.
To prepare for his character inspired by Colonel Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, a real-life war hero, Varun underwent rigorous training involving strength, endurance, and mobility exercises. He emphasized the need for physical and mental discipline to authentically portray a soldier on screen, especially during challenging shoots in real locations like Babina.
Varun’s dedication extended to maintaining a functional routine with a focus on clean eating, including high protein, healthy carbs, and ample hydration to sustain himself during demanding outdoor filming. In Border 2, Varun will share the screen with actors like Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, forming the core cast of the movie.
