Veteran actor Dalip Tahil became emotional as he reminisced about his late mother’s desire to revisit her ancestral home in Hyderabad, Sindh. He shared a video post showcasing an old haveli connected to his family’s heritage, highlighting the pain of families displaced during the Partition. Tahil expressed his mother’s unfulfilled wish to return to her home at least once before her passing.
The shared picture displayed an ancient heritage building in Hyderabad, Sindh, with a caption that read, “Sindhi Hindus – The Walls Still Remember Their Names,” capturing the essence of his family’s history. Reflecting on his emotions, Tahil paid tribute to his mother, Shanti Malani Manghanmal (1916–2000), and her longing to see her home again, a wish that tragically remained incomplete due to the Partition’s aftermath.
In his professional career, Dalip Tahil has been a prominent figure in Bollywood for more than four decades, making a mark in the industry during the 1980s.
