During the promotion of ‘Ek Din’, Aamir Khan conversed with comedian and actor Zakir Khan, noting that while the essence of filmmaking lies in storytelling, the tools for narrating stories have evolved over time. He explained how filmmaking today incorporates various elements like visuals, sound, music, and casting to engage audiences effectively.
Aamir Khan emphasized the critical role of a captivating story in filmmaking, stating that regardless of advanced techniques, a dull narrative fails to retain viewers’ interest. He stressed the importance of storytelling quality over technical aspects for a film’s success.
The film ‘Ek Din’ features Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan in lead roles, with Junaid portraying a reserved character who develops feelings for Sai Pallavi’s lively persona. The narrative unfolds with a twist in Japan, where Sai experiences memory loss but retains memories of Junaid, who saved her life.
The movie marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and filmmaker Mansoor Khan after a notable hiatus, reigniting a celebrated creative partnership in Hindi cinema.
