Ace cinematographer Rathnavelu has completed filming for the much-anticipated rural action drama ‘Peddi,’ featuring Telugu star Ram Charan in the lead role. Rathnavelu expressed his gratitude for working with Ram Charan, praising him as a powerhouse performer on screen and a wonderful friend off-screen. The last song of the film, touted to be a sensational special number featuring Ram Charan, was recently shot in Hyderabad.
Sources close to the film unit had revealed that the song, set to A R Rahman’s music, promises to be a chartbuster with its captivating tune, dance sequences, grandeur, and a surprise element. The makers had earlier announced that the entire shoot of ‘Peddi’ would be wrapped up within six days, with only the song pending for filming. Due to the desire for perfection, the film’s release has been rescheduled to June to allow the post-production team ample time.
