During the meeting, Loomer highlighted the Dalai Lama’s resilience in the face of challenges, particularly from the Chinese Communist Party, emphasizing the importance of kindness, compassion, and moral clarity. She considered the encounter with the Dalai Lama as rare and meaningful, expressing gratitude for the experience and the spiritual leader’s message of compassion and service to humanity.
In a separate event in New Delhi, Loomer cautioned against the US strengthening ties with Pakistan, citing concerns about the country’s alleged connections to global terrorism. Addressing past controversial remarks about Indians on social media, Loomer admitted that some of her comments were inappropriate, acknowledging the need for accountability and reflection.
