Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari expressed confidence in the party’s performance in the recent Assembly elections across five states. Tiwari highlighted the positive trends shown in exit polls, particularly in West Bengal, where the BJP is expected to lead. The exit poll projections also indicate a favorable position for the BJP in Puducherry and Assam.
In his statement, Tiwari mentioned that the BJP-AIADMK alliance in Tamil Nadu is in a close contest, while in Kerala, the party is slightly behind but actively working to gain voter trust. The BJP MP emphasized that the exit poll results have further boosted the morale of party workers and leadership, especially in West Bengal.
Tiwari also noted that the exit polls might not fully capture the voting behavior in West Bengal. He suggested that a significant portion of voters in the state may not openly express their preferences, which could impact the final outcome. Meanwhile, West Bengal BJP President Samik Bhattacharya, speaking in Kolkata, refrained from directly commenting on the exit poll projections, acknowledging the active participation of voters in the electoral process.
