Chinese President Xi Jinping conveyed his best wishes to Indian President Droupadi Murmu on the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day. Emphasizing the importance of fostering friendly relations, the Chinese Ambassador to India, Xu Feihong, highlighted the need for China and India to support each other for mutual success.
Attending the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi, Ambassador Xu Feihong expressed his pleasure in participating in India’s 77th Republic Day festivities. In a previous statement, he had underscored China’s readiness to collaborate with India on practical initiatives, especially focusing on economic cooperation and mutual benefits.
During a seminar discussing China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, Ambassador Xu Feihong outlined China’s commitment to enhancing its economy and creating new opportunities for cooperation with countries like India. He emphasized the potential for significant market growth and the importance of strengthening traditional and emerging industries for mutual prosperity.
In a meeting held in Tianjin, China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping had explored ways to strengthen bilateral ties and build upon the recent positive developments in India-China relations. Both leaders discussed enhancing cooperation and fostering mutual growth between the two nations.
