The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will convene a significant meeting in New Delhi to mark 12 years of the NDA government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure as India’s longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister. The meeting, set at Bharat Mandapam, will see the participation of PM Modi, top BJP leaders, and officials from NDA-ruled states and Union Territories. Sources suggest that the NDA is likely to pass a resolution applauding PM Modi for surpassing Jawaharlal Nehru’s record.
Senior Union ministers like Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah, along with BJP president J.P. Nadda, are expected to join the event, focusing on the NDA government’s achievements, future policies, and political strategies. Discussions are anticipated to cover governance initiatives, development programs, and preparations for upcoming elections. This meeting holds significance as the first major NDA gathering post BJP’s victories in West Bengal and Assam, preceding next year’s Assembly elections.
The NDA meeting follows the recent INDIA bloc opposition meeting in New Delhi, where leaders discussed joint strategies on electoral reforms, education, and economic issues.
