Senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and party spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari has resigned from all his organisational roles, expressing dissatisfaction with the party’s treatment of dedicated workers. Tiwari accused the party leadership of neglecting loyal members and failing to address internal concerns despite his efforts to raise them.
He highlighted that his grievances were not acknowledged by State RJD President Mangani Lal Mandal and other senior officials, including Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav. Tiwari emphasized that enduring constant humiliation in politics is untenable, especially considering his past commitment to the party during challenging times.
Citing a lack of support for dedicated workers, Tiwari criticized certain individuals within the party for weakening it internally. He stated that he could no longer continue in an environment where loyal members like himself are marginalized, leading to his decision to step down from all positions within the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
Mrityunjay Tiwari, a prominent public figure for the RJD, has been actively involved in defending the party’s stances in the media and engaging in political discussions. While his future political plans remain undisclosed, his resignation comes amid Bihar’s political preparations for upcoming elections, potentially sparking speculation about shifts in the state’s political dynamics.
