Veteran actor Suniel Shetty sent warm birthday greetings to filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan, who turned 61 on Friday. Shetty praised Khan for her infectious energy and authenticity, mentioning that despite the passing years, she remains true to herself without any filters or pretense. The actor, who collaborated with Khan in the 2004 film “Main Hoon Na,” expressed his admiration for her genuine nature and wished her a happy birthday.
“Main Hoon Na” is an action drama movie that marked Farah Khan’s directorial debut. The film features Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Suniel Shetty, Amrita Rao, and Zayed Khan in lead roles, with a supporting cast including Kirron Kher, Murali Sharma, Kabir Bedi, Boman Irani, and Naseeruddin Shah. Suniel Shetty played the role of the antagonist in the film. The storyline revolves around Major Ram Prasad Sharma’s covert mission to protect the general’s daughter from a dangerous rogue soldier while reconnecting with his estranged family.
Known for its neutral portrayal of the Indo-Pakistani conflict, “Main Hoon Na” emerged as the second highest-grossing Indian film in 2004, following Shah Rukh Khan’s “Veer-Zaara.” Suniel Shetty is set to appear in Ahmed Khan’s upcoming comedy movie titled “Welcome To The Jungle,” featuring a star-studded ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and many more.
