Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s growing economic prospects during a special dinner in Nuremberg, Germany. The event was attended by Indian Ambassador Ajit Gupte and other notable guests.
The discussions emphasized Uttar Pradesh’s progress towards becoming India’s second-largest economy. This advancement is attributed to improved business conditions, enhanced law enforcement, and the development of robust infrastructure in the state.
The gathering acknowledged Uttar Pradesh’s expanding expressway network, ongoing airport expansions, and the emergence of industrial corridors that are attracting global investor interest. Talks also explored opportunities for enhanced bilateral cooperation between Germany and Uttar Pradesh in various sectors such as technology exchange, skill development, and manufacturing.
At a subsequent meeting with leading German-Israeli drone and aerospace firms in Germany, the Deputy Chief Minister discussed the state’s potential as a hub for defense production and emerging technologies. The firms, known for their expertise in unmanned aerial systems and drones, were invited to establish manufacturing units and research hubs in Uttar Pradesh.
The partnership aims to foster collaboration in manufacturing, research, skill development, and technology transfer, with a focus on strengthening India’s aerospace and unmanned systems sector. This initiative aligns with the goals of Make in India and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” to position Uttar Pradesh as a global center for drone innovation.
