As anticipation builds for the upcoming release of Chidiya, a critically acclaimed Indian film that has already made waves at international film festivals, its first song has just been released—and it’s every bit as touching as the film promises to be.

A Song That Soars on Wings of Innocence

Titled “Aye Dil Ki Nanhi Chidiya”, the newly released track is a gentle, emotional ode to childhood dreams and undying hope. Sung with tender warmth and poetic grace, the song encapsulates the central themes of Chidiya—freedom, innocence, and the unbreakable spirit of youth. From the very first note, it carries listeners into the world of two young boys whose only dream is to fly—both literally and metaphorically.

The melody is simple yet stirring, allowing the lyrics to shine as they echo the aspirations of anyone who has ever dared to dream. The visuals accompanying the song are filled with rustic charm—showing sunlit fields, soaring kites, and wide-eyed children who find magic in the mundane.

About the Film: A Celebration of Childhood and Dreams

Chidiya is not just a film—it’s an emotion. Directed and written by Mehran Amrohi, the movie tells the story of two young boys from a modest Indian town who are united by one dream: to fly. Through their everyday adventures, innocent mischief, and heartfelt moments, the film explores the purity of childhood and the resilience that comes with it.

While the story focuses on two children, the movie is far from a simple kids’ tale. It delicately brings out social challenges, family dynamics, and the often-forgotten magic of small-town life in India.

A Power-Packed Cast with Soulful Performances

The cast of Chidiya features an ensemble of seasoned performers including Vinay Pathak, Amruta Subhash, Inaamulhaq, and Brijendra Kala. Alongside them are three young talents—Svar Kamble, Ayush Pathak, and Hetal Gada—whose natural performances bring authenticity and depth to the narrative.

Each actor adds a layer of realism to the film, allowing viewers to truly feel immersed in the characters’ world. The chemistry between the two boys is particularly compelling, reminding audiences of the simple joys and silent sorrows of growing up.

From Festival Favorite to Indian Screens

Having already garnered accolades at several prestigious international film festivals, Chidiya is now gearing up for its Indian theatrical release on May 23, 2025. The film will be shown in select cinemas across the country, giving Indian audiences the chance to experience a story that has captured global hearts.

Behind the Scenes: A Strong Creative Team

The film is backed by a team of dedicated producers including Faqhrul Husaini, Sudhir Kolte, Vinit Rukari, Akbar Hussaini, Aarif Khan, Iftekhar Amrohi, Piyush Dugad, and Mehran Amrohi himself. It is being released by Reliance Entertainment, with the music rights held by Zee Music Company.

A Song to Remember, A Film to Look Forward To

“Aye Dil Ki Nanhi Chidiya” is more than just a song—it’s a reminder of every dream we once cradled in our hearts. With heartfelt lyrics, soothing vocals, and an emotional undercurrent, it sets the tone beautifully for Chidiya, a film that promises to leave a lasting impression.

If the song is any indication, Chidiya will be a cinematic experience filled with warmth, nostalgia, and inspiration—a must-watch for anyone who cherishes the wonder of childhood and the power of hope.
