Chandigarh, March 8 (IANS) Fulfilling one of crucial poll promise of providing the financial support to every women, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab on Sunday announced a monthly assistance of Rs 1,000 for those belonging to the general category and Rs 1,500 for Scheduled Caste (SC) under the Mukhya Mantri Mawan Dhiyan Satikar Yojana, enabling 97 per cent of all adult women to avail the scheme.
