Plot Overview: A Story of Rebellion and Revolution

The much-anticipated Tamil film Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara, is all set to hit the big screens, and fans are eagerly awaiting Sivakarthikeyan’s first collaboration with the acclaimed filmmaker. Originally planned with Suriya, the project later roped in Sivakarthikeyan, alongside Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa Murali, and Sreeleela in pivotal roles.

Set in 1965, Parasakthi delves into the anti-Hindi agitation movement in Tamil Nadu. The film’s protagonist, played by Sivakarthikeyan, is a young man whose life takes a drastic turn after a dear one faces oppression for standing up against linguistic domination. What follows is a powerful narrative where he leads a revolution against a corrupt politician, played by Ravi Mohan, making this the first on-screen face-off between the two actors.
